Kim Kardashian has scored a $1 millio deal with People magazine for exclusive coverage of her upcoming wedding to NBA player Kris Humphries, reports Page Six.
Earlier in May, People paid Kim $300,000 for exclusive coverage of her surprise engagement with Kris. The magazine featured photos of Kim, fiance Kris and the talk-of-the-town 20.5 carat engagement ring on its cover.
People clinched the wedding deal after OK! magazine withdrew an offer to pay Kim nearly twice the amount being paid by People.
According to Page Six, some People magazine staffers are jittery with the $1 million payout because the engagement issue didn's sell as well as expected. They think the magazine may not be able to recover their money.
"Some worry they're now stuck with a big bill for the wedding," a source tells Page Six.
"Some editors think the cheating scandal and the over-the-top ring and wedding could be a turn-off," adds another source.
No wedding date has been set yet.
Kim's sister Khloe Kardashian earned $300,000 from OK magazine for exclusive photos and details of her wedding to NBA player Lamar Odom in October 2009.
Kim's rep denies there is a deal.
"Nope, not true at all. No deals have been made for the wedding," the rep told Page Six.
